The Edge View Notifications are also referred to as the Side Screen of the Samsung Galaxy S8+ Plus. It is by far one of the most popular features of this smartphone, as users highly appreciate this way of viewing messages and various other notifications. While you probably heard any of these two terms, the Samsung officially calls it the Info-Stream of the Samsung Galaxy S8+ Plus smartphone, a feature designed to display info in the most unexpected part of the display, the edge of the screen.
In this article, however, we’re going to show you how to view the notifications displayed on the side screen when the display itself is turned off.
As it turns out, all you have to do is to quickly move your finger, on the right side of the display, where the Edge is situated, from left to right and back. This rapid movement should activate the Galaxy S8+ Plus Info-Stream and display information on that part of the screen.
Needless to insist on this aspect, you will first have to activate the Info-Stream from the Android settings. The feature is built-in, but it doesn’t come as a default active option. Once you’ve enabled it from the settings, do the rapid move on the Edge of the screen and you should be able to use it just as it was supposed to work.
