Note 8: How To Hide Pictures

For those that have bought the new Samsung smartphone, you may want to know how to hide photos on Note 8. The reason for Note 8 hide photos could be because you don’t want others to view some specific pictures that you’ve saved on your smartphone.
In the past, some people would download third-party apps to be able to hide photos on Samsung Note 8. But now you don’t need to do this because Samsung now has a built-in app that will do this for you. The feature used to be called Private Mode and as recently had its named changed to Secure Folder, so these two phrases will be changed interchangeably

With the Secure Folder on Samsung Note 8, you’ll be able to hide pictures, videos and other files that you want to keep private from others. When using Note 8 Private Mode, a password is needed to access files that are hidden from the standard user.

How To Enable Secure Folder on Samsung Note 8 To Hide Photos:

  1. Turn on your Note 8
  2. From the top of the screen, swipe down to access control panel screen
  3. Browse and tap on Secure Folder
  4. Go through the introduction steps to setup Secure Folder

 

How To Disable Private Mode on Samsung Note 8:

  1. Swipe down from the top of your screen to access the control panel
  2. Tap on Secure Folder
  3. Now exit out of Secure Folder and have the Note 8 go back into normal mode

 

How To Add And Remove Files From Private Mode On Note 8:

  1. Turn on your Note 8
  2. Enable Private Mode
  3. In the top right side of the screen, tap on the Overflow menu option
  4. Tap on the Move to Private option

 

After following the steps above, you’ll be able to hide photos, files and videos on Samsung Note 8. You can easily add and remove files as you wish so that only you can see certain things.
