The Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ Plus gives you the ability to add contacts you frequently keep in touch to a favorites list so you can easily access them without having to go through the hassle of looking them up in your huge list of contacts.
However, you may find yourself having too many favorites’ contacts when you even don’t use half of them. Below I’ll explain how you can remove and delete favorites on Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ Plus.
If you have owned an Android device before, you might already had so many contacts in the favorites list from past smartphones. I’ll explain how you can delete or remove certain contacts that you don’t like or talk to anymore.
Deleting and removing Star Favorite contacts
- Switch on your Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+ Plus.
- Go to “Phone” app.
- Go to “Contacts” section.
- Pick the contact that you wish to favorite or star.
- Press on the “star” to remove the contact from your Favorites list.
Please note that the Samsung Galaxy or Galaxy S8+ Plus doesn’t give you the ability to manually sort your contacts where your most important contacts appear at the top of your list. Instead, all the contacts will be listed alphabetically.
This normally adjusts with the more contacts you add or delete from the list. If you wish to re-add a contact to the favorites list, just press on that person’s contact and check their star.
