- First, turn on your Galaxy Note 8 or Note 9 phone.
- Go to your “Phone” app.
- And then, go to the phone’s “Contacts” section.
- Here, you can now add a star or favorite a specific contact you want by selecting them.
- A red circle will appear and you need to click on the “star” option
Using your Galaxy Note 8 or Note 9 phone, you can even select the name of a contact in which you want to make or set a favorite. Once done, the name of that contact that you chose will then be added to the list of favorites the moment you click on the star.
Keep in mind that you will not be able to arrange your favorites in a specific order so that the contacts that you want to see first will be shown on the list as first. However, your favorites will still be arranged in an alphabetical order so it will still be easy to find them.
In case you want to remove a contact to your favorite lists, simply uncheck the star from a contact person’s name. Another option is that you can simply delete the contact so you can delete them from your favorites list.
