The Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ Plus have an inbuilt Camera that is very clear and users can take videos and images on it. The default Camera has sounds that it makes when the users tap on the camera button for capture. These sounds are very important because it will inform the user that a picture has been successfully been captured.
However the sounds on the camera can create an ugly scenario when you are taking photographs in a group, the sounds can create unwanted attention and also create alerts that can make the user uncomfortable. At this point, you will start thinking on how to disable it or turn the camera sound off in Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ Plus.
Follow the steps below to turn off camera sounds on Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus:
- Go to the Camera app
- On the top of the screen after opening the camera app, find the “Settings” icon and touch it to open up
- Scroll downwards and at the bottom of the screen you will find “Shutter sound”
- Select “Off” to turn the camera sound off and when you are through with the photo taking and you want to turn the shutter sound on, you just follow the same procedure.
