How to disable SMS text alerts during calls on Galaxy S8/S8+ Plus

From the Home screen of your device, simply access the general Menu and follow these steps:

  1. Tap on Settings;
  2. Identify the Sound & Notifications icon, then tap on it too;
  3. Select the Other sounds option;
  4. Tap on Call;
  5. Tap on Call Alerts;
  6. Tap on Call Signals;
  7. Look for the option labeled as “Notification during calls”;
  8. Uncheck its box.


From now on, when you will receive new text messages while you’re on the phone, having a voice call, you should hear no alert.
