Both the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8+ Plus are very popular smartphones. Their new features and designs have some lots calling them the best smartphones of 2016. The only glitch with these smartphones is that Google has the ability to track your location history using the GPS positioning.
Not every party that owns a Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+ Plus will be interested to check his or her location history. For those of us that hate this feature set up by Google, here are some guidelines on how you can disable this feature.
Turning off Google Location History on Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ Plus
- Switch on your Samsung Galaxy smartphone
- Touch on Home screen, then go to Menu.
- Tap on Settings.
- Tap on Privacy & Safety.
- Tap on Location.
- Tap on Google Location History.
- On the top of your screen, uncheck the box to disable the location history.
If you followed the above steps correctly, you will be able to disable tracking of Google Location on Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ Plus.
