A Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ Plus can only take as many photographs as storage space you have available. Aside from that, the only question left is what exactly are you trying to photograph, since the image quality is closely related to the shooting conditions.
Every decent camera supports a zoom feature and this is the case of this flagship too. Thanks to the camera zoom feature, you can take clear photographs of objects, persons or places from a generous distance. Tweaking its settings is just as easy as tapping the volume buttons of the smartphone.
But to be able to use it that way, you should activate this feature first. For the time being, no zooming will happen when you hit the volume rocker with your App camera opened. That’s because you haven’t enabled the option. If you’re interested in controlling the zoom only from the two volume buttons, without having to swipe the display with two fingers, here are the steps you would have to follow.
Enable camera zoom from the volume buttons of Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ Plus:
- Launch the Camera app;
- Tap the gear icon;
- Browse until you find the Volume Key;
- Tap on the Volume Key;
- Select Zoom.
With these 5 simple steps, you have enabled the zoom control from the volume buttons of your smartphone. From now on, when you want to take a zoom picture, you can:
- Tap the Volume Up button to “zoom in”;
- Tap the Volume Down button to “zoom out”.
That’s how simple it is to zoom camera on any Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ Plus.
