Do you have an iPhone or iPad in iOS 10.3? Then you also have a portable flashlight that you can take with you all the time. In case you weren’t aware that your Apple device features something like this, we’re here to tell you more about it.
If you’re dreaming of a LED Maglite, don’t do it. They’re totally different things, but that doesn’t mean that the light coming out of your smartphone won’t be strong enough to satisfy your needs.
To keep it short and simple, all iPhones and iPads, whether they moved on to iOS 10.3 or not just yet, have this special widget that acts as a flashlight. The widget is incredibly easy to use and it definitely saves you from having to download a third-party app just for this purpose.
As long as you know its location, it all comes down to tapping it whenever you want to turn it On and then Off. To find it and access it:
- Turn on the device;
- Launch the main Menu by swiping your finger from the bottom of the screen;
- In the newly extended menu, look for the Flashlight icon – you should find it almost instantly, right at the lower left corner of your screen;
- Now that you have activated the flashlight, you can use your Apple iPhone and iPad in iOS 10.3 to cast light on whatever you’re doing;
- When you’re done, get back to this menu and tap on the Flashlight icon once again.
We told you it can’t get easier than that, didn’t we? Next time when it will be dark, just take the iPhone or the iPad out of your pocket and spread some light.
