If you own a Google Pixel or Pixel XL, there is a feature on the device that makes the phone vibrate whenever the user types a letter into the keyboard. The function is there primarily for those that don’t look at the screen while they type.
It informs you that you have pressed a key without having pay attention directly to the screen. Not everyone appreciates these vibrations. If you would prefer not to have them, follow these steps to switch them off.
- Turn on the device.
- Go to the menu.
- Select settings.
- Go to sound.
- Go to Vibration Intensity
Once you are in the “Vibration Intensity” section, there should be a button in the top left of the screen. Select this button to turn of the vibrations completely. It is possible from this route to also make changes to notification vibrations and those for alerts.
