Your Samsung Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+ Plus comes with a lot of protections measures. But, if you are not a fan of setting up passwords over and over again, or you just do not want to lock your smartphone every time, you can use Private Mode.
It is very important to keep in mind there is a Private Mode on Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+ Plus called Secure Folder.
This option will help you avoid testing and downloading other third party applications. You can deactivate and activate by checking the box whenever you want. It also has the advantage to hide a particular file or folder on your device. The only way you can access this is if you enter a Pin code.
If you are interested in protecting and hiding pictures, videos, or photos, take a look below so that you will be the only one that can see it:
Turn on Private Mode;
- Use two fingers to swipe down on your screen.
- Click Private Mode.
- Choose a PIN Code that you can easily remember.
Remove or add files;
- Look for the photo and choose it.
- Click the button for Overflow that is in upper corner.
- Choose “Move To Private”.
Turn off Private Mode (when you are complete);
- Use two fingers to swipe down.
- Click on the Private Mode sign.
- Patiently wait until you are back to normal mode on your smartphone.
The idea is pretty intuitive and simple. The main thought is to use Private Mode to create a separate area on your Samsung Galaxy S* or Galaxy S8 that will need a password to access. When you do not have password or you do not know that there are hidden information in Private Mode, you will not be able to view pictures on the device.
This is one of the simplest and best ways to hide photos and videos. They will be invisible to the people that do not have the password. Usually, you can keep any supported information types in a secret and not just photos.
