Your Samsung Galaxy S8 or Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus may promise to offer you everything but it clearly doesn’t have everything installed on it from the very beginning. As time goes by and you familiarize yourself with the new device, ideas will pop up. And if you’ve searched for some of it within the Play Store without success, you’re probably wondering how and from where else you could get that third-party app…
Soon enough, you might find out that there are so many places out there from where you can download apps. The problem is, however, that Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus devices are not set by default to allow installing software from unknown sources.
If you’re ready to go down that road, all you need is to activate unknown sources on Galaxy S8 or S8 Plus. Think it’s easier said than done? No, not really…
In Order To Activate Unknown Sources Option On Galaxy S8 Or Galaxy S8 Plus…
- You must go to the Home Screen;
- You need to bring up the Apps menu;
- Next, you should open the Settings window;
- Go to the Device Security menu;
- Find the Unknown Sources option;
- Switch the toggle for the Unknown Sources option from On to Off.
After following these 6 steps, your device will no longer block your access to downloading software from other sources than the Play Store. Go ahead and use the unknown sources on your Samsung Galaxy S8 or Samsung Galaxy S8+ Plus but… Don’t forget to disable this feature back, if you really want to protect your smartphone against malicious apps installed without your permission!
