Huawei P20 is able to display the applications in “Split Screen View” and “Multiple Window Mode”. In the section below, we will explain the procedure for using Huawei P20 on divided Screen View. This view enables the users of Huawei P20 to be able to run two applications concurrently. However, note that you have to enable the “Divided Screen View” and “Multiple Window Mode” from the settings before you can use these features. Here is the procedure that allows you to enable the divided Screen View and Multiple Window Mode and we will also explain how you can begin to use the features.
Procedure For Enabling Split Screen On Huawei P20
As illustrated above, you will be required to make sure the “Split Screen” and “Multiple Window Mode” are activated on the settings. To do so, follow these steps:
- Switch on the Huawei P20
- Open the Settings app
- Under Device you will find Multi Window
- Switch the Toggle Multi Window to On from the Right side
- Check the box that is next to the “Open in Multi Window View” to select to view content in Multiple Window Mode.
Once the “Multiple Window Mode” and “Split Screen View” on Huawei P20 is turned on, watch out for grey semi circle on the phones screen. The semi circle means indicates that the settings are enabled and so you can view content using Split Screen Mode.
Now, you are ready to start using the features and to do so, select the halfcircle and this will take the multiple window view. Once this is done, now you need to pull the icons to the specific window where you want the apps to open. You can resize the window by using your fingers to press and hold the circle on the centre of the screen. Once you have done this, place it to the new place where you want it to be.
